    Job Description: Defense Assessment Analyst


    Job Location:  Sierra Vista, AZ


    Security Clearance:  TS/SCI


    Certification: DoD 8570 applicable certifications for IAT Level III- Any ONE of the following would qualify: CASP CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP (or Associate), GCED, GCIH

    Global Information Assurance Certification (GIAC) – Systems and Network Auditor (GSNA),  Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), and Certified Wireless Network Administrator (CWNA)

    Job Responsibilities

    The Defense Assessment Analyst will conduct persistent penetration testing on all supported networks.  Typical daily duties will include:

    • Execute tactical overwatch operations and network surveillance of the Department of Defense Information Network – Army to conduct open network testing.
    • Verify network deficiencies by identifying potential weaknesses and circumventing the defensive posture to gain access onto the network and recommending mitigation actions.
    • Maintain and document training and use of all vetted Penetration Testing (PT) Tools.
    • Conduct Web Assessment of all registered public facing web sites.
    • Analyze results to rule out false positives.
    • Address Cross-Site Scripting, SQL inject, embedded passwords, and common port

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Minimum five (5) years demonstrated/practical hands-on experience performing defense assessment analysis in a DoD network environment
    • Have a thorough understanding of Federal Information Processing Standards Publication (FIPS) 199, Standards for Security Categorization of Federal Information and Information Systems.
    • Knowledge of ARCYBER Computer Defense Assistance Program (CDAP) tools.


    Required Certifications:

    • DOD 8570 applicable certifications for IAT level III
    • Global Information Assurance Certification (GIAC) – Systems and Network Auditor (GSNA),  Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), and Certified Wireless Network Administrator (CWNA)


    This position may require shift work.

    Security Clearance

    • TS/SCI with SSBI Investigation
