    Job Description: Security Manager

     

    Job Location:  Sierra Vista, AZ

     

    Security Clearance:  TS/SCI

     

    Certification: DoD 8570 applicable certifications for IAT Level II- Any ONE of the following: GSEC, Security+CE, SSCP, CCNA-Security

    Job Responsibilities

    The position provides oversight and direction for the network of contractors supporting Program objectives.  

     

    Key duties/responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

     

    1. Provide training to new contractors on Program security requirements.  Assist with preparation of clearance request packages.
    2. Assist contractors with facility designs to incorporate appropriate security features, conduct pre-accreditation inspections, and provide assistance in preparation of accreditation documents.
    3. Conduct periodic assessments of contractor facilities to ensure compliance with security requirements.  
    4. Assist customer staff with resolving any operational security issues involving other contractors.

     

    Manage a team of coordinators performing the following activities:

     

    1. Develop/Update security SOPs to the government for approval, to ensure compliance with Army regulations and guidance.
    2. Conduct Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS) verification of personnel security clearances/access levels. 
    3. Create and issue USARCC-C security badges for personnel assigned to USARCC-C and other NETCOM organizations as required.
    4. Operate the door proximity access system and issue proximity access cards.
    5. Issue SIPRNET tokens and Alternate Smart Card Login (ASCL) cards to USARCC-C employees and provide status reports as required.
    6. Perform security in- and out-processing of contractor personnel. The Contractor shall coordinate security in- and out-processing of Civil Service and Military personnel

    Minimum Qualifications

    • 10 years+ program and facility security management experience
    • 15 years+ of overall job experience
    • IAT Level II Baseline Certification- any ONE of the following: GSEC, Security+CE, SSCP, CCNA-Security
    • MSOffice full cognizance and capabilities
    • BS degree with required experience or HS Diploma with over 20+ years

     

    Required Certifications:

    • DOD 8570 applicable certifications for IAT level II- any ONE of the following: GSEC, Security+CE, SSCP, CCNA-Security

     

    Security Clearance

    • TS/SCI
