Job Title: Mission Support Services Division Chief

 

Job Location: Sierra Vista, AZ

 

Security Clearance:  Secret

 

Certifications: IAT Level II Baseline Certification- Any ONE of the following would qualify: GSEC, Security+CE, SSCP, CCNA-Security

Job Responsibilities

Oversees the USARCC-C internal services to support daily operations. Most of these services are a subset of those provided externally, and support the provision of external services. Internal services in support of overall USARCC-C operations include thin client, workstation, and server management, local area network management, operation of the Service Domain of the CONUS Forest, facility management, computer room operations, logistics support, security management, storage management, internal tools support, and support for Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) management processes. Responsible for the oversight of the following functions:

 

  • Server and Workstation Support
    • Approximately 14,300 event/incident/service request tickets require resolution each year
  • Security and Information Assurance
    • Performance of approximately 2,000 scans per month, validation of approximately 80 clearances per month, and support of approximately 2,000 customer requests per month. 
  • Infrastructure Support
  • SAN/Virtual Machine (VM)/Backup Support
    • 4,200 event/incident/service request tickets require resolution each year
  • Internal Tools Support
  • Logistics Support
  • Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL)
    • Continual Service Improvement

Minimum Qualifications

  • 10+ years of IT Operations support experience
  • Must have IAT Level II Baseline Certifications- Any ONE of the following would qualify: GSEC, Security+CE, SSCP, CCNA-Security
  • Should have moderate knowledge of this field and domain gained by experience in working on similar projects / programs, may have specialized domain technical knowledge that needs to be broadened into a more comprehensive knowledge of all aspects of domain

Education

  • B.S. degree

Security Clearance

  • Secret
