Job Title:  Cybersecurity Engineer III


Job Location: Kuwait

Job Responsibilities

Perform complex risk analyses and risk assessments. Provide comprehensive cybersecurity designs that implement the applicable baseline security controls from the latest version of CNSSI No. 1253, Security Categorization and Control Selection for National Security Systems. Support customers at the highest levels in the development and implementation of doctrine and policies. Define and validate technical security requirements for proposed IT systems, and document system security design approaches and/or determine if system design approaches meet mission security requirements. Integrate cybersecurity considerations into systems engineering and design processes and shall ensure that the cybersecurity portions of the overall system design are reflected in all contractor generated system engineering and design documents, test plans, procedures, and reports. Ensure that cybersecurity boundaries (e.g., crypto boundary, authorization boundary, classification boundary) are clearly and consistently identified in all Contractor generated program documents and drawings. Perform network security management services that includes assisting the Government with managing access restrictions to network facilities/resources, as well as protecting the confidentiality, authenticity, and integrity of network management data (e.g., routing tables, access lists, and audit data protection). Perform analysis, design, and development of security features for system architectures.

  • Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for military leadership, providing feedback and recommendations for Cybersecurity initiatives
  • Provide recommendations and suggestions regarding implementation of Cybersecurity policies and procedures
  • Perform other duties as required

Minimum Qualifications

  • DoD 8570.01 IAM-III Compliant
  • 5 Years of experience performing CyberSecurity engineering in a DOD environment
  • Must be a US Citizen

Desired Qualifications

Demonstrated experience with the following protocols and technologies, to include but not limited to:


  • CNSSI No. 1253, Security Categorization and Control Selection for National Security Systems
  • Layered defense and resilience into system architecture and design
  • Network hardware and software maintenance, to include patches, preventive maintenance, modifications, and network emergency repair
  • Microsoft server-based enterprise environments with a focus on patch management
  • Virtualization and SAN/Storage concepts


  • Minimum 5 years of performing Cybersecurity Engineering in a DOD environment
