Job Title:  Senior Technical Recruiter 


Job Location:  Vienna, Virginia

Job Responsibilities

Perform all duties of a Full Life-Cycle Recruiter such as:

  • Develop recruiting strategies to source, screen, and submit specific technical and professional candidates
  • Actively identify and screen cleared individuals for opportunities with DoD and Intelligence agencies
  • Build partnerships with internal customers to include Program Managers and Business Development through which the team can anticipate hiring needs, define requirements and help determine best solutions
  • Interaction with Capture/Proposal teams to support pricing/market data sampling as it pertains to proposal recruiting efforts
  • Build and maintain professional and personal networks (Affinity Groups, User Groups, and Community Organizations, etc.) and Social Networking (LinkedIn, Facebook, Spoke, Twitter, Google+, etc.).
  • Identify passive candidates and develop/manage sourcing strategies that address strategic business needs/goals
  • Continually evaluate and apply new sourcing methodologies to actively identify, cultivate and grow target candidate pools of top talent
  • Be a strategic adviser and provide subject matter expertise regarding the market, competitive landscape, compensation, candidate expectations, onboarding and integration challenges
  • Understand, document, and track recruiting data according to OFCCP compliance
  • Report requisition and recruiting activity
  • Design and execute research projects into competitor organizations
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

  • 7-10 years corporate recruiting and /or agency staffing experience
  • Experience recruiting for highly technical or IT related positions, SATCOM exposure is highly desired
  • Solid experience in conducting cold-calls both for recruiting and research purposes
  • Experience recruiting in a government contracting organization
  • Must have OCONUS recruiting experience with knowledge of the CRC process
  • Must have experience recruiting for candidates with high level government clearances
  • Expert understanding of Boolean searching
  • Must be a Social Media enthusiast
  • Strong Sales/Persuasion orientation
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good relationship management skills
  • Computer proficiency with the ability to utilize MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
  • Prior experience in the proposal process (to include pricing/market data sampling)  is highly desired
  • Must demonstrate drive and a high expectation for delivering exceptional business partner relationships
  • Must show Initiative and creativity to suggest ideas that improve the team's ability to meet/exceed hiring objectives
  • Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems, iCIMS experience desired
  • Expertise with LinkedIn Recruiter
  • Is able to work under pressure in a time-critical environment 
  • Ability to work flexible hours to accommodate changing work priorities
  • Must be a US Citizen

Desired Qualifications

  • AIRS certified strongly preferred


  •  Bachelor's degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of formal education and directly related experience, is required.

Security Clearance

  • Active clearance preferred, but must be clearable
