We provide cybersecurity, intelligence, communications, networking and information technology services, systems, and solutions to the United States Department of Defense, Intelligence Community and Department of Homeland Security.  This opportunity will be directly supported from our local Operations office located in Tampa, Florida.

Security Clearance:  TS w/ SCI  Eligibility

Job Responsibilities

  • Characterize and analyze network traffic to identify potential threats
  • Conduct research, analysis and correlation on all source data sets
  • Perform tests of Information Assurance safeguards in accordance with DoD and Intelligence Community standards
  • Determine appropriate actions in response to identified and analyzed network activity
  • Understand and analyze tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) for intrusion sets
  • Document and escalate incidents.
  • Analyze network topologies to understand data flows through the network
  • Identify and analyze anomalies in network traffic using metadata
  • Identify applications and operating systems of a network device based on network traffic
  • Identify network mapping and operating system (OS) fingerprinting activities
  • Perform Computer Network Defense trend analysis and reporting
  • Perform event correlation using information gathered from a variety of sources within the enterprise
  • Provide daily summary reports of network events and activity by close of business
  • Provide timely detection, identification, and alerting of possible attacks/intrusions, anomalous activities, and misuse activities
  • Receive and analyze network alerts from various sources within the enterprise and determine possible causes of such alerts
  • Configure and maintain Computer Network Defense tools for continual monitoring and analysis of system activity to identify malicious activity
  • Validate intrusion detection system (IDS) alerts against network traffic using packet analysis tools
  • Perform other duties as required

Minimum Qualifications

  • Requires current SEC + certification.
  • Requires knowledge of a broad range of COMSEC program relationships, and expertise in COMSEC key Management.
  • Requires a vast knowledge of configuration management using the Electronic Key management System (EKMS), Local Management Device/ Key processor (LMD/KP).
  • Must be a US Citizen
