    Job Title: Satellite Technician II
    Location:  Qatar
    Security Clearance:  Active, in-scope US Government issued Secret clearance

    Job Responsibilities:

    Trace Systems is actively recruiting for a highly skilled Satellite Technician II to join our team in Qatar.

     

    This role will perform the following duties:

    • Support of terminal installations, repair, and troubleshooting
    • Maintenance of Satellite Communications systems and equipment
    • Must have the technical knowledge to solve complex problems
    • Understand the inter-relationships of circuits
    • Exercise independent judgment in performing tasks in support of Satellite Communications

    Minimum Qualifications:

    This position requires a minimum of five (5) years of experience working with DSCS or Commercial Satellite Terminals as specified to include:

    • X, C, KA, Ku-band, Tri-band Satellite Terminals
    • FDMA, TDMA, IP Type Satellite modems

    US Citizenship is required.

    Desired Qualifications:

    • Hands on experience with iDirect modems is highly desired
    • Knowledge and experience with MET (MODERNIZATION OF ENTERPRISE TERMINAL) SATCOM equipemtn is desired
    • US Military training - MOS 25S 

    Education:

    • High school diploma or equivalent in education and experience
