Job Title:  Frequency Manager*

Job Location: Qatar

Security Clearance: Active, in-scope US Government issued TS/SCI clearance.

Due to the nature of the work and contract requirements, US Citizenship required.

Job Responsibilities:

Trace Systems is seeking an experience Frequency Manager to support our on-site team based in Qatar. Frequency Management tasks shall include:

  • Process requests for frequencies into the Spectrum 21 (SXXI) database.
  • Plan and obtain frequency allotments in various countries in support of contingency or exercise operations for U.S. forces.
  • Maintain and manage all U.S. frequencies.
  • Review and process all frequency allocations to ensure mission requirements still exist.
  • Manage reported cases of Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) within the AOR and coordinate with appropriate agencies, host nations, and DoD organizations as required to resolve EMI issues IAW Joint Spectrum Interference Resolution (JSIR) process. Interference reports shall be sent to the Government as specified.
  • Maintain and update a continuity book containing the Joint Restricted Frequency List, Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) predator information, AOR frequency processing, SIs, installation spectrum management orientation information, UHF Tactical Satellite (TACSAT) information, and Government POC.
  • Contact AOR installation frequency managers in the AOR within 30 calendar days after the AEF rotation and prepare and provide orientation packages to them. Orientation packages shall contain excerpts from the Frequency Manager Continuity Book.
  • Provide technical advice to the AOR spectrum management community as required

Minimum Qualifications:

Must have experience with the following:

  • Base level and deployable communications systems, particularly antennas
  • Management and planning of frequencies to include frequency allotment, frequency requests, and frequency modifications
  • Management and resolution of electromagnetic interference (EMI)
  • Joint Spectrum Interference Resolution (JSIR) process
  • Spectrum XXI Management Database and Microsoft Office
  • Active, in-scope US Government issued TS/SCI clearance.
  • Due to the nature of the work and contract requirements, US Citizenship required.

Education:

  • High School Diploma Required
