Job Title: Inside/Outside Cable Plant Technician II*
Job Location: Qatar
Security Clearance: Active, in-scope US Government issued Secret clearance
Due to the nature of the work and contract requirements, US Citizenship required.
Trace Systems is seeking an Inside/Outside Cable Plant Technician II to support our on-site team based in Qatar.
This position provides I/O cable plant support to support the day-to-day technical operations of the I/O infrastructure as well as support installation, testing, removal, O&M of aerial, underground, and buried multi-purpose communications cable to include copper, coaxial, and fiber optic cable. The Inside/Outside Cable Plant Technician II may be required to operate heavy equipment to include cable reel trucks, trenchers, backhoes, chiselers, bobcat, and 20k all-terrain forklift. The candidate must comply with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) for I/O related safety issues and Air Force Office of Safety and Health (AFOSH) standard and local squadron instructions.
