Job Title:  Squadron/AOR Supply Technician *

Job Location: Qatar

Security Clearance: Active, in-scope US Government issued Secret clearance

Due to the nature of the work and contract requirements, US Citizenship required.

Job Responsibilities:

Trace Systems is seeking a Squadron/AORAOR Supply Technician  to support our on-site team based in Qatar. This ideal candidate will establish a Government forward COTS supply channel and maintain liaison with the military aerial port personnel. 

Ferry contract personnel to and from Military Aircraft (MILAIRMILAIR) and civilian passenger terminals.

 

Job responsibilities: 

  • Ferry contract personnel to and from Military Aircraft (MILAIRMILAIR) and civilian passenger terminals.
  • Ensure adequate stock/supply levels are maintained of personnel protective equipment, safety equipment, and consumable items.
  • Receive, maintain, and deploy contract-related inventory.
  • Inventory personal protective and chemical warfare equipment.
  • Coordinate separate storage arrangements for Precision Measurement Equipment Laboratory/Test and Di-agnostic Measuring Equipment (PMELPMEL/TDMETDME) equipment or high-value assets.
  • Prepare assets for CONUSCONUS or (OCONUSOCONUS) shipment and complete all required documentation.
  • Receive, store, inventory, issue, ship, and transfer A6 assets, materials, supplies, merchandise to include equipment from Responsible Draw down of Forces.
  • Serve as central receiving point for A6 asset hardware deliveries and shipping.
  • Inspect shipments to verify the identity, quantity, and serviceability of the materials received are consistent with the invoice and/or shipping documents.
  • Coordinate with functional technicians to ensure defective equipment are repaired or disposed of.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Intermediate experience in logistics/supply management, cargo, and transportation within the last ten (10) years.

  • Must be cognizant of military and commercial transportation requirements, methods, services, procedures, and documentation.

  • Must have an in-depth knowledge of the logistics of medium-scale deployments to forward areas. Prefer several years of OCONUS experience and experience with USAF-specific procedures and documentation.

  • Intermediate experience with the following:

    • USAF logistics/supply protocols, procedures, forms

    • DoD and AF forms including: AF Form 9 (Request for Purchase), AF Form 601 (Equipment Action Request), AF Form 2005 (Issue/Turn-in Request), DD Forms 1575 and 2332 (Product Quality Deficiency Tags), DD Form 1149 (Shipping Document).

  • Active, in-scope US Government issued Secret clearance

Education:

  • Associates Degree in any discipline from an accredited institution or DOD Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) training.
