Job Title:  Logistics Analyst II*

Job Location: Shaw AFB, SC

Security Clearance: Active, in-scope US Government issued Secret clearance

Due to the nature of the work and contract requirements, US Citizenship required.

Job Responsibilities:

Trace Systems is seeking a Logistics Analyst II to support our on-site team at Shaw AFB, SC. This candidate will provide logistical support to the Government.

This support shall include:

  • Distribution, transportation, warehousing, freight forwarding, and documentation.
  • Coordinate with Government organizations and provide a working bench stock listing to ensure critical spare parts are available for non-stock listed COTS equipment.
    Work through procurement channels using AF Form 9 and other methods to procure and maintain agreed upon levels of spare equipment. This listing shall be updated quarterly and maintained in a continuity book.
  • Coordinate with the Government to control project material as directed and materials necessary to support base infrastructure maintenance actions.
  • Provide and ensure positive control of equipment and other materials as directed by the Government or the designated representative.
  • Support logistics management of Government procured equipment for shipment, to include palletizing equipment for air transport.
  • Operate equipment during the execution of logistics coordination. This equipment shall include:
    • Forklifts (up to 20K)
    • Flat bed, cargo box, and tandem trucks

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Intermediate level experience on enhancing product workflow by analyzing and developing logistics plans that affect production, distribution, and inventory.
  • Experience in creating and reviewing procedures for distribution and inventory management to maximize customer satisfaction and minimize cost.
  • Intermediate experience with the following:
    • USAF logistics/supply protocols, procedures, forms
    • DoD and AF forms including: AF Form 9 (Request for Purchase), AF Form 616 (Fund Cite Authorization), AF Form 4009 (Government Purchase Card), DD Forms 250 (Receiving Report), DD Form 448 (Military Interdepartmental Purchase Request), DD Form 1348-6 (Single Item Request).
    • Customer Authorization & Reporting Environment (CARE)
    • Federal Logistic Information System Database (FEDLOG)
  • Active, in-scope US Government issued Secret clearance

Education:

  • Associates Degree or equivalent and 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
