Job Responsibilities:

Trace Systems is actively recruiting for a cleared COMSEC Manager to join our team on-site at Fort Polk, LA. This position will provide COMSEC support to the FORSCOM, G6, CSID, Cybersecurity Branch, and subordinate units/sites. Duties and responsibilities include:

  • Assisting in the drafting of policy, implementing security procedures, reviewing security practices, and evaluation of the COMSEC program and comply with applicable COMSEC laws, policies, memorandums, directives and regulations.
  • Support and provide recommendations on COMSEC policy and procedures to mitigate insecurities and vulnerabilities, assist with the sustainment of the IA/ISSP, support the capabilities of the Communications Branch and subordinate units/sites
  • Managing system databases to include compilation of systems reports and overall system performance.
  • May serve as the Alternate Key Management Infrastructure (KMI) Operator Account Manager (AKOAM).
  • Managing a Department of Defense (DOD) classified COMSEC account in accordance with National Security Agency (NSA) and specified service regulations.

Minimum Qualifications:

Positions requires the following minimum qualifications:

  • At least 3-5 years of relevant COMSEC Account Manager experience required.
  • Experience utilizing the KMI system to order, generate, produce, distribute, manage, and audit cryptographic products (e.g., asymmetric key, symmetric keys, manual cryptographic systems, and cryptographic applications).
  • Lead level “hands on” work experience in support of installations, repair, and troubleshooting or maintenance of communications systems or equipment.
  • Must have the technical knowledge to solve complex problems, understand the interrelationships of circuits, and be able to exercise independent judgment in performing tasks in support of communications systems or equipment.
  • Managing and supervising communications support personnel.
  • Course certifications: Key Management Infrastructure (KMI) course or Local COMSEC Management Software (LCMS) and COMSEC Account Manager Course (CAMC) or Standardized COMSEC Custodian Course (SCCC)
  • An active, in-scope US Government issued Top Secret clearance
  • Due to the nature of the work and contract requirements, US citizenship is required.


  •  High school diploma or equivalent in education and experience.
