Job Title:  Project Planner II

Job Location: Shaw AFB, SC

Security Clearance: Active, in-scope US Government issued Secret to TS/SCI clearance

Due to the nature of the work and contract requirements, US Citizenship required.

Job Responsibilities:

Trace Systems is actively recruiting for a cleared candidate to provide support to for the United States Air Force. Under the CTSS program, Trace Systems provides operations, maintenance, administration, and management support to USAFCENT A6, 379ECS, and ODRP in CONUS and in the USCENTCOM AOR. Task areas to be supported include: Program Management, Communications Planning and Engineering, Cybersecurity, Spectrum Operations, RF Transmission, SATCOM Operations, and Logistics.
 

Trace Systems is seeking a Project Planner II to support our on-site team based at Shaw AFB, SC. Responsibilities include:

  • Support all Government exercise, contingency, and deliberate plans as required.
  • Identify communications and Information Technology (IT) requirements from subordinate organizations and the Government staff for exercise, contingency, and deliberate planning.
  • Analyze requirements and coordinate technical solutions with the Government staff and outside agencies as required.
  • Attend exercise and contingency planning conferences to support planning.
  • Develop and coordinate exercise and contingency planning documents.
  • Plan for and participate in exercise control cells.
  • Travel as directed to support the Government Command, Control, Communications, and Computers (C4) systems planning issues.
  • Develop exercise, contingency, and deliberate planning documents as required, including Annex K and associated appendices for contingency and operational plans.
  • Provide staff coordination documents, briefings, and staff papers as required.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Intermediate level of experience in planning and scheduling various project workload.
  • Must have experience in gathering and analyzing information to prepare status reports.
  • Experience in ensuring that assignment and scheduling of work follows company policy.
  • Must have experience in evaluating current procedures and recommends changes to improve the efficiency of planning and scheduling of projects.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience with the following:
    • Managing, supervising, and coordinating military communication systems
    • Planning and implementation activities,
    • Managing communication architecture, configuration, and integration conformity,
    • Working and communicating with military officers.
    • Must possess excellent interpersonal skills
  •  Active, in-scope US Government issued Secret to TS/SCI clearance

Desired Qualifications:

  • PMP certification. 

Education:

  • High School Diploma
