Job Title: Navy Customer Account Manager 

Job Location: Remote work, Northern Virginia or San Diego, CA, preferred locations 

Security Clearance: Active, in-scope US Government issued Secret clearance

Due to the nature of the work and contract requirements, US Citizenship is required. 

Job Responsibilities:

Trace Systems is actively recruiting for an Account Manager to support our Navy Customer and Corporate Headquarters. This position can be performed remotely with travel to client locations in San Diego, CA, Washingon DC Metro area and Tampa, FL. This role will be a member of the M-DRIVE® team and contribute to the overall engineering, design, build, and operations support of all existing and new Infrastructure for ongoing and future product lines. A familiarly with Hyper Converged Storage and PowerShell, bash, or other automation and scripting tools will move you to the front of the line for consideration.


This essential role will be responsible for handling Navy client accounts with a heavy emphasis on tactical networks (PMW 160) and enterprise networks (PMW 205).

Responsible for fostering relationships between Trace and interface and coordinate projects, accounts, and business opportunities relative to the client.

The Account Manager will liaise frequently with the clientele to assure them of their importance which helps to expand on the customer relationship and business. 

As an Account Manager, you may have a number of client accounts and must be able to manage them effectively and prioritize the various customer projects.

The Account Manager has the responsibility to inform the customer of any developments or changes to their project.


Duties and responsibilities include:

  • Increase the company’s product revenue 
  • Develop product pipeline
  • Respond to client communications or queries and resolve any client issues 
  • Network with business partners and or distributors 
  • Sales forecasting and analyze sales data 
  • Utilize, review and update CRM database
  • Coordinate with corporate teams/assets for support to customers 
  • Provide strategies and estimates for the company 
  • Provide quality control oversight

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Position requires a minimum of eight (8) years of experience with DoD acquisition commands, processes, and directives
  • Must have at least eight (8)+ years of experience with IT and Command and Control (C2) capabilities development
  • Experience in product sales in an IT environment
  • Must possess a strong understanding IT and network technologies
  • Strong understanding of Coalition/mission partner networks and technologies
  • Must have in-depth understanding of the acquisition lifecycle of ACAT I MAIS programs of record
  • Ability to communicate and network efficiently and effectively
  • Position requires the ability to travel to client locations as needed
  • Be detail oriented, able to manage and time and multiple client accounts
  • Active, in-scope US Government issued Secret clearance
  • Due to the nature of the work and contract requirements, US Citizenship is required

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience in Coalition/Multi-national information sharing requirements desired
  • Experience with Combatant Command or Service Component Command staff organization and requirements processes desired


  • Bachelors degree in EE, CIS, or other technical area, or 15 years of equivalent experience or training can be substituted in lieu of a degree.
