Job Responsibilities:

Trace Systems is seeking a Network Operations Center (NOC) Administrator to provide monitoring and coverage of the Compartmented Enterprise Services Office (CESO) Network Operations Center (NOC).

 

With the CESO program, the Defense Information System Agency (DISA) is looking to transform the existing Secure Web Services (SWS) environment, which provides secure information sharing to the community, into a more mature service offering to meet the DoD and intelligence communities.  As part of this task order, Trace and its teammates will manage the commercial cloud migration and disestablishment of legacy systems, fully automate the continuous development & continuous integration environment, fourth estate consolidation, professionalize services – ITIL/DevSecOps based processes, improve the customer experience 1st call resolution, and achieve development of a service catalog for Defense Working Capital Fund (DWCF) Model.

  • Monitoring network to ensure network availability to all system users and perform necessary maintenance to support network availability
  • Proactively identify risks in the network and develop plan to mitigate them.
  • Perform data backups and disaster recovery operations.
  • Maintain and administer computer networks and related computing environments, including computer hardware, systems software, applications software, and all configurations.
  • Plan, coordinate, and implement network security measures in order to protect data, software, and hardware.
  • Perform routine network startup and shutdown procedures and maintain control records.
  • Review user requests for upgrades or additions to the network to assess impact on network performance and provide advice and guidance on the most practical technical approach to meeting user requirements.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • A minimum four (4) years hands-on experience troubleshooting and fault isolation of IT business systems and skills on the following areas:
  • Experience in configuring Cisco switches and routers.
  • Dynamic routing protocols (BGP, OSPF)
  • Spanning tree
  • 802.1x
  • Troubleshooting S2S/ IPSEC tunnels connection.
  • VLAN configurations
  • Network trouble shooting.
  • Basic Firewall troubleshooting and configuration
  • Basic ISE/TACACs troubleshooting and configuration
  • AWS Cloud service

At least one of the following certification is required (CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, SSCP)

 

Ability to work a rotating shift schedule, available shifts include: 0600-1400, 1400-2200, 2200-0600

Desired Qualifications:

  • Prior experienced with DISA and DISA’s support to mission partners
  • TS/SCI w/CI Poly Preferred

Education:

BS in computer science or IT. Add'l experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
