Job Title: Senior Systems Administrator

Job Location: Kaiserslautern, GE

Trace Systems is actively recruiting for a cleared Senior Systems Administrator to provide support to the Defense Logistics Agency. Under the Enterprise Service Delivery II (ESD II) program, Trace provides customer facing desktop support, active directory, windows/system administration, local network management application support, software delivery functions, and IT Equipment Accountability. 

Responsibilities:

• Ensures the stable operation of the in-house computer software systems and network connections. This includes planning, developing, installing, configuring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all network software and communication links.
• Analyzes and resolves end user software program and connectivity issues.
• Provides end user training.
• Provides recommendations on technology direction to align with business vision.
• Provide both local and remote maintenance support to various operational systems deployed at more than one location.
• Provide general maintenance, upgrades, and new installs of servers and applications.
• Applies advanced technical knowledge of application networking, including load balancing applications, and ensuring fault tolerance.
• Performs vulnerability management.

• An active, in-scope US Government issued Secret clearance.

• Due to the nature of the work and contract requirements, US Citizenship is required.

• A minimum of seven (7) years of progressive experience in the field of Information Processing, six (6) years of which are specialized in numerous specialized Information Processing disciplines involving a range of hardware/software solutions, four (4) of which are concentrated, hand-on experience in installing, configuring, maintaining, and resolving issues with various software.
• An active Secret clearance is required.
• DoD Approved 8570 Baseline Certification: Category IAT Level II.
• Computing Environment: MC: Azure AA (Azure Admin Associate).

• A minimum High School Diploma or GED is required.
