Overview:

Job Title: Supply Technician

Location: Doha, Qatar

Job Responsibilities:

Trace Systems is actively recruiting for an Supply Technician to support the AFCENT Communications E&I Support Services II contract. 

The job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Inventory Management: Tracking, monitoring and inventorying levels of supplies, equipment and materials using Air Force supply systems
  • Ordering and Requisitioning: Processing and coordinating the requisition of supplies and materials as needed, ensuring timely delivery and minimal disruption to operations
  • Supply Distribution: Organize and distribute incoming supplies to designated areas or units, ensuring accurate documentation and efficient handling.
  • Warehouse Management: Maintain organization and cleanliness of supply warehouses, ensuring items are stored safely, correctly, and in compliance with regulations.
  • Records Maintenance: Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, transactions, and supply chain activities using computer-based systems (e.g., the Integrated Logistics System or Enterprise Resource Planning software).
  • Quality Assurance: Inspect and verify the condition of incoming supplies and equipment to ensure they meet Air Force standards and specifications.
  • Supply Chain Coordination: Communicate with vendors, suppliers, and logistics personnel to resolve supply chain issues or discrepancies in orders.
  • Compliance with Regulations: Ensure all supply procedures comply with Air Force regulations, policies, and safety protocols.
  • Equipment Accountability: Assist in the tracking and maintenance of government property, ensuring proper documentation and accountability for all issued equipment.
  • Customer Support: Provide support to Air Force personnel by identifying supply needs, locating parts, and addressing supply issues in a timely manner.
  • Surplus and Disposal: Manage excess or obsolete supplies and equipment, ensuring proper disposal or redistribution according to Air Force protocols.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • An Active, in-scope US Government issued Secret Clearance 
  • Due to the nature of the work and contract requirements, US Citizenship is required.

GENERAL EXPERIENCE: 

  • Five (5) years of experience,  to  include:  supervisory  or warehouse lead at a DoD facility; inventory control  logistics support  for  projects  involving  electronic/  electrical  repair and   installation,   ordering,   acquisition,   distribution   of material, equipment and resources.

Education:

  • High School diploma or GED
