Job Title: Network Administrator

Location: Los Angeles, CA

Trace Systems is actively recruiting for a Network Administrator to support the network for the Los Angeles AFB in support of the 61st CS. 

The job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Responsible for ensuring the reliability and availability of network resources.
• Additional responsibilities include, e.g., supporting the Network team, management of network assets, tracking equipment lifecycle, advising on projects, performing site visits, providing technical solutions.
• Responsible for networking aspects of the NIPRNet and SIPRNet as well as associated equipment to include but not be limited to, e.g., switches, routers, servers, data storage systems, data back-up and recovery systems, and back-up power systems and devices.
• Developing, implementing, documenting, and maintaining a standardized maintenance program for all contractor-supported government equipment based on DoD and AF guidance, industry standards and/or best practices, Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) service manuals, AF Technical Orders (TO), and established local procedures.
• Support projects, tasks, personnel, and other resources (both internally and externally) while being a liaison among customers and employees.
• Use key performance parameters to monitor work performance, measure results, ensure delivery of contracted services, support management and decision-making, and facilitate communications.
• Identify risks, resolve problems, and verify effectiveness of corrective actions. 
• Provide Architecture and Management Support services to include but not limited to, e.g., site surveys, inspections, design and review assistance, requirements development, path profiles and studies, and coverage surveys.
• Develop technical solutions and Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) estimates and submit CIPs to meet new requirements or solve unique network or equipment problems.
• Other duties as required.

Work is performed full-time on site in Los Angeles, CA.

In compliance with California's Pay Transparency requirements, the following information is being disclosed. If the position applied to is not located in California, the following information may not apply. The base salary range above represents the low and high end of the Trace salary range for this position. Actual salaries may vary above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. In addition, Trace provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, flexible spending accounts, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, company holidays and paid time off (PTO).

Salary Minimum:   $50,000

Salary Maximum:  $92,000

• Active, in-scope US Government issued Secret clearance.
• Due to the nature of the work and contract requirements, US Citizenship is required.
• CCNA or CCNP or GCIA or GCLD or GDSA or GFACT or CASP+ or CCNP Security or CCSP or GCED or GCIH or CEH or CFR or Cloud+ or GICSP or SSCP or Security+ or GSEC or equivalent or higher level certifications.
  

• BS degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science, from an ABET accredited or CAE designated institution OR 5+ years of relevant experience
